As a laboratory technician, I spent in my leisure time, editing, combining, changing and adapting different pictures I took. Here they are:

Coachman Carries A Blood Carriage

The sort story is that for a while I thought of doing this idea and in that shift, at the end I decided to take a picture of the cart with the blood profiles faced with a background of the laboratory, just before taking it away to the cooling room. Afterwards, I have taken another photo of me sitting down in a specific postilion (Date: May 4 2020 [22:54]).

The day after, I’ve combined these 2 staged pictures with different images I have found over the internet of horses and different parts such as saddle and lead rope – Basically, collage.

Spartan Warrior + Raiden

In the beginning at MDA I had a crazy idea to take the centrifuge’s lid and to hold it like a shield. I took a picture of myself with the lid, held a barcode reader as my “weapon” and day after I have combined it with a warrior helmet.

Few months later, I had a close idea but in this case the centrifuge’s lid was used as an Asian Straw Hat. I did this while I stand in a form similar to a sanchin (三戦) stance and my hands were in an offensive-defensive position. Again, day after, I combined myself with different lightnings and changed the entire scene to be foggy, dark, noisy, like a mystical place. I based it on a fictional character from Mortal Kombat named Raiden. Because, my name is Roy, I naming this collage also as a “Royden”.
