I wanted to make a realistic drawing of two opposite/different index fingers of two individuals together – like a “shaking hands”. The emphasis of this expressed by (1) two distinct pencil opacities (“colors”), that is to say, white person and black person but can also be considered as two different cultures or any other of opposites, and (2) close-up on the “shaking” event rather that the two persons from far-off.
