My father describes: “My father** was a stage person (actor) and the painting was meant to represent him. I painted it using a dry brush technique in one stroke.”
I see here a figure of a clown – a cheerful, lively figure. My father (on 12/25/2022), after I told him that to me this piece is a “clown”, said that my grandfather (his father) when he came to Negba to “soften” the group of children so that he could help my father be accepted – put on a coat and put his hands down the back of his back while at the same time he inserted a broom from behind, the “tip” of which touched the collar of the coat – in doing so, he moved the coat. In other words, the name “clown” is also appropriate in this respect. In conclusion, both “actor” and “clown” are stage people.

It can be seen that over the years the painting has been eaten/crumbled (white parts) and the paper, which was white, has also become old.
**
“my father”, means, the father of my father, simply my grandfather.
