Sewing Dad’s Athletic Shorts’ Pockets

Out of all the athletic shorts my dad owns, there is one pair he particularly likes. For some reason, the pockets on these shorts are attached with adhesive rather than being sewn on; after extensive use and many washes, this likely caused them to fall off. Fortunately, one pocket was still partially attached, so I first reinforced it along its entire length (as shown in the video from Sep 11, 2026 – Partial recording). Afterward, I moved on to other tasks. About two weeks later, I sewed on the second pocket—which had completely detached—using the first one as a guide; I positioned it in the same way but in reverse, like mirrored (as seen in the second video from Sep 26, 2026).
