The creation of this piece started with the process I mentioned earlier, in short, involving the scanning of an old document from 1996âa certificate confirming my father’s training in Tai Chi Chuan and “Pushing Hands” from the Chinese Wushu Association. Following the processing of the scanâspecifically the areas intended to be goldâan editing error occurred in Photoshop. I carried this mistake over into the “Gold Desert (AI)” piece, which in turn led me to create the current work: an image featuring two imaginary women wearing a dress I designed (using AI) with a specific shape and a style that blends adaptations (versions) of that original mentioned work of “Gold Desert (AI)“.
