Artistical Palindromic Words

Years ago—likely during high school (around 2005)—I had an idea to write words that could still be read when flipped to the other side (a sort of mirrored effect).

Years later, I attempted to execute the idea again (April 2, 2018)—this time by creating a graphic design and transforming it into a moving image (a GIF). However, at the time, my knowledge and expertise in graphic design were limited, particularly regarding video and moving images (GIFs). Consequently, while I did create the artwork, I did not complete the final step of turning it into a GIF. (Even if my memory is actually mistaken, the earliest evidence of this type of palindromic development dates to 2018, as noted).

As I wrote in the analysis of my other work (My Palindromic Kim): “I found an old image (a GIF) among the masses of photos in my digital ‘album’—which is, in reality, an absurdly large number of pictures. I had experimented with the name ‘אלינור’ (English: Elinor)—which forms a palindrome—but back then, I couldn’t quite get the background for the text right or turn it into a decent GIF.

Over the years, I gained experience in graphic editing, video creation, GIF making, and everything else involved in the process. Recently, once I finally succeeded (on September 13, 2026), my creative mind kept wandering, leading to the idea of ​​creating a palindrome using my surname, ‘Kim’.

In conclusion, many years ago it was a GIF that does not move at all but now it is complete and working.

Around 20 years to be completed!

I remember that I also did the same for the name “אור” (Or) which is practically like “אלינור” (Elinor) without “לינ” (lin). I also at some point created the same development for other words comprised with different letters such as “דג” (“dag” which is “fish”) and perhaps also for “רוט” (rot) which is a family name. Moreover, I will develop more.
