I originally took a picture of the work (i.e., digitized) on October 17 2022, and then, since the photo was not exactly opposite (facing in front of it) but slightly at an angle, I made sure to straighten it. In fact, it’s like taking “⏢” and turning it into “▭“. After, I realized that this was not what I wanted since the photo came out not of sufficient quality – Meaning:
- Focus – excellent.
- Shine – not good – suppose to be without.
- Lot of dust can be seeing and not the black background of the paperboard as a smooth and beautiful black.
Therefore, additional photo again on another day when there was different lighting, along with artificial lighting that I added and together with a specific shooting angle and settings, I managed to fix it quite a bit. In this way, this result can be seeing at “Old Jaffa“.
Afterwards, I tried to make all sorts of changes in Photoshop (Android) to the first try (with the shine and the dusty black) and the effect came out really well, comparing to OK outcome from the finished image (2nd try) “Old Jaffa. ”
Therefore, for “Old Jaffa“, the second result is the best, but for its digital processing through Photoshop, the “failure” (1st try) yielded an impressive result in this type of effect.
