We had in front of our entrance door a “ŨĪŨŨŨ ŨŨ” (Eugenia uniflora “Suriname cherry”) but unfortunately it withered and die. I took a main branch with its smaller branches (it was a small cherry and the branches are actually twigs) and placed on them a very small paper birds that I have created, based on different species, from a origamis books of mine. Also, I took additional twigs (probably from different plant) and intertwined them together as a nest (see: on the bottom left)
As it shows, this sculpture is extremely brittle (sensitive), and broke at some point. At least, I have a descent picture from that time that I took in a very old digital camera (Olympus ‘CAMEDIA’Â C-220 Zoom) at a resolution of only 1,600Ã1,200 pixels, and I enhanced it (on Jul 5 2026) to be perfect – Better resolution, more details, higher texture – All with integrity.
I will make something like this again:
